So what exactly is HHO?
HHO is a hydrogen and oxygen gas mixture that is derived from water. Other names for HHO include Brown's Gas, Oxyhydrogen, and Rhode's gas to name a few. HHO generator kits use the process of electrolysis to convert water into this clean, powerful fuel. At the current time, HHO is only used to supplement gasoline usage, and not to completely replace it.
How do HHO generator kits work?
Most HHO generator kits consist of the same main parts. A reservoir of water is used as the container where the electrolysis process takes place. Electrolysis is simply passing a current of electricity through water. Once the electrolysis begins, the HHO gas bubbles towards the top of the reservoir. There is generally a tube running from the reservoir to the intake of the engine, so that as the engine runs, the HHO gas is sucked from the reservoir directly into the engine. Most people set up their HHO generator kits to run automatically anytime the engine is running.

Although a few commercial units have popped up every now and then, they are often commanding prices over $1,500.
