I have a panasonic microwave it is a 1500W inverter system the child lock won't let me operate! no book?

Im looking for something to power my alarm clock, which does not work with batteries, but i dont have a cigarrete lighter in my car.i keep getting power interruptions, like my digital clock reads 12 00 am for the alarm because the power was turned off by something.Either weather related or inside the house.I was going to buy an emergency battery but those are more expensive.
How to get uninterrupted power supply from an inverter.?
I have luminous inverter in my home. I run my cpu only cpu, not monitor on it. The problem is that when electricity goes off, inverter cuts off the power for about 1 10 seconds and then supplies the dc to ac converted power and in this gap my cpu shuts off. Does anybody know some fix for this?I remember that once I was searching for this on google and had come across a plug which holds the power while inverter gives its power so cpu doesn't shut off. Now I don't remeber what was that plug and nor can I find it again. Please reply soon. Note I can't use ups on inverter as it overloads the inverter .Any help will be appreciated. Please reply soon.Well Owlivia, I need inverter because I have electricity problem and my inverter is not ups cum inverter so what I want is run my pc on inverter and inverter shouldn't give the time to pc to shutdown. Power inverter working when truck is off HELP....?
I have a 2008 silverado. I bought two black and decker power inverters from home depot one rated for 400watts and other 100 watts. Im trying to power up my printer and laptop separately but while the car is on. When the car is off it works perfect as soon as the truck is on it dosen't work. Any ideas please???im trying to hook it up to the cig lighter by the way.

Do i need two car batteries to run 1200 watt power inverter with a 1100 watt freezer?
ok we are selling ice cream in a van a 95 ford wind star we are trying to hook the freezer up to the power inverter 1200 watts continuously and the freezer is 1100 with spike of 1500 when first turned on. the inverter can handle the spike as it can go up to 2400 watts for a short period of time. but when i plug the inverter into the car battery and the freezer into the inverter the inverter shuts off is this caused but overload or do i need to put another battery in Parallel with the main car battery to run the inverter at this wattage when we are selling?i dont think the freezer is 1100 watts after doing some calculations i think it is about 600 its a 115 volt 5.0 amp freezer so i think the main car battery and an external one in parallel would do the job

Inverter losses for solar power system?
I have been searching quite a lot on this over the internet but i am really confused. I want to set up a solar power system for a small office. What I am really confused about is taking into account the inverter losses. I have come across various calculators over the internet which ask separately for wattage AC loads and DC loads. They then ask to multiply AC load wattage by 1.15 to account for the inverter losses.So here are my questions 1 Multiplying by 1.15 gives me the DC wattage? Is that dependent on the efficiency of the inverter? If an inverter has efficiency of inverter is 85 %, then would i multiply AC wattage with 1 0.85 ? 2 I want to replace my grid connection with this system. That means, all my appliances will be powered through the inverter INCLUDING THE DC APPLIANCES . Should I multiply the wattage of DC appliances with 1.15 as well to account for the inverter losses because they are also getting power from inverter, like the AC appliances ??3 Over the internet, I have seen that the losses for modified sine wave inverters are 20 % more than what is stated. Is that true? and how should I account for that in my calculations? Btw what about pure sine wave inverters is their efficiency the same as what is quoted on them?4 Does the efficiency of inverter differ for appliance to appliance e.g. a motor working on inverter will have lesser efficiency than a light? ? How do i account for it in my calculation if this is true?Any help is appreciated... I want to make a complete table for power consumption and the required inverters...please provide me help
